Breanne Nelson has been in the dance world practically all her life. She started out dancing at the age of 4 & was part of J&L Academy of Dance from 1st grade thru her senior year. She continued dancing in her college years & you’ll find her dancing still today. Breanne has 2 Bachelor’s & an MBA; all in Business & HR. She currently works full-time as an HR Generalist. She loves giving back to organizations that have given her so much. Besides being a board member for the studio, she also serves on the Board of Directors for MN Collegiate DECA. Outside of working, dancing & serving on boards; you will find her either in the studio taking classes, working her Herbalife business as a Health & Wellness Coach part time & being a single mom to an energetic 3.5 year old who also dances at ‘nMotion along with her 2 nieces who love dance & the studio just as much. She is looking forward to seeing what direction ‘nMotion will be going in with her fellow board members.
Megan received her first dance experience in college where she learned some ballet and jazz, but she found her love of tapping when joining ‘nMotion as an adult tap student in 2013. She has a background in Human Resources with years of leadership experience, and is currently a HR Business Partner. Megan received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2019. When not spending time at the studio, you can find Megan watching her nieces and nephews playing sports, with friends, dabbling in photography, or enjoying activities outside.
Kelly Klohs is the mother of two girls who love to dance. Although not a dancer herself, she enjoys watching the positive impact dance has had on her daughters. Kelly grew up in Wisconsin. She earned a degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Early Childhood from the University of River Falls. Kelly is in her 16th year teaching in Cambridge, 13th year teaching first grade. Kelly is looking forward to serving on the ‘nMotion Dance Center for Performing Arts Board of Directors. Her hope is to give back to the studio that has provided her daughters with years of happiness while dancing and to share the positive impact of the studio with the community so others can experience the same..
Jennifer has been a dancer at the studio since elementary school, where Miss Sarah and others fostered a love of dance, body positivity, and inclusivity. When the studio started the journey to a non-profit, she was super excited to jump on the board! She has been a member of the board since our inception. She went to school at the University of Minnesota for psychology and family social sciences, and currently works at a local non-profit after school and summer program for at-risk youth. When not in dance classes, she spends time with her kids, dogs, and chickens, can be seen quilting and crafting or exploring the cities.
We will be offering classes for enrollment ALL year-round!
